This anti-virus syrup was initially released with the name "SHAD Syrup". This was actually the name given to this herbal syrup during the initial testing in "Pastor Institute of Iran"
At the time of production, the name of the product was changed to "Stopcivir". Stopcivir is the initial registered brand of this formula. However in order to better commercialized the product, the name was finally changed to Alerguard, considering the guarding effect of this herbal drug against viral infections.
